Art has always played an important role in my life.
Since I was a child I have always been involved in one way or another in a
kind of artistic expression, either in a creative way or simply enjoyng good
music, good movies and beautiful paintings.
Mosaic made it's first appearance in my life at the end of the '90s in South
Africa.
I would quote Brazilian singer Adriana Calcanhotto when she says "I roam
across the world looking at colors, colors of Almódovar, colors of
Frida Kahlo, colors..."
In these bright, amusing, over the top, dramatic colors I find inspiration
for breaking, glueing and re-inventing shapes and images.
