Welcome to the NC Eco-Living Cooperative Network
The Northern Cape Eco-Living Cooperative
Network (in short, NCE Cooperative Network or
NCECN) is an exciting project with
the aim of creating a network of 12 self-sustaining eco-settlements at various
remote locations among the pristine mountainous valleys and isolated small
farming villages in the Northern Cape of South Africa and Southern
Namibia.
Chief Aim
In anticipation of impending war in the Middle East, and
an inevitable global economic meltdown and its ramifications, the core objective of this network is
life preservation through the
advancement of, among other things, sustainable self-sufficiency; social
security; eco-friendly, healthy living
within a dynamic,
open-minded and supportive community, and in pristine wilderness surroundings.
Our Need
People
committed to ecological, social and economic self-sufficiency, and prepared to
invest resources in obtaining that goal.
Incentives
Becoming a
participant of the NC Eco-Living Cooperative Network offers an
opportunity to live in a unique wilderness environment, and in addition to this,
membership of a network of communities with a superb self-sustaining quality of
life.
By attaining self-sustainability we have as economic incentive
the prospect of overcoming life’s difficulties brought on by a global economic
meltdown and the ensuing political and social turmoil.
As moral incentive we havethe prospect of escaping social decadency by withdrawing to a remote and
secluded location.
As health incentive we have the prospect of practicing
healthy organic farming and relatively stress-free living in pristine wilderness surroundings.
