as well as the first time recording artist is provided.
Each artists has his or her unique circumstances or requirements,

The studio is equipped with a range of professional microphones
as well as a variety of instruments such as Electric guitars,
Acoustic Guitars, Electric & Fretless bass guitars,
Emmons Pedal Steel Guitar, Fender Rhodes 88 Piano,
Wurlitzer electric piano, Korg BX3 organ, Hammond B3 organ,
full drum kit etc.
Full sync of digital/midi and analogue multitrack linked
to 48 channel desk and harddisk recording, including full
outboard effects rack.
Following are some of the services provided:
SOLO ARTIST/BAND
Recording of solo Vocalist/Instrumentalist:
Full instrumentation, arranging and producing of material can be
provided for the solo performer with or without a band.
MASTERING TO CD.
Final mixes or sub-mixes can be done to Compact Disc or DAT.
The next step after mixing and burning your recorded material
to CD is that of Mastering. Mastering is a process of sound
tailoring whereby your product is enhanced to a higher level.
It is most unlikely that you will find any international
recording that has not been enhanced by proper mastering.
In South Africa the concept has not really been adopted by most studios.
Some of the reasons, I reckon, are lack of knowledge (Studios and Artists)
as well as budget constraints.
TRANSFER TO COMPACT DISC
Analogue to digital recording, restoration and digital mastering
of material from old or irreplaceable LP's, 45rpm records,
cassette or DAT tapes.
BACKING TRACKS.
Many artists are practicing or performing with pre-recorded backing tracks.
Some selected backing tracks are available. Contact Nic for more information.
