In view of the small amounts involved, finding a cheap method of transferring money to another country remains a headache.
I have checked with my Bank, and they suggest the following:-
There are two ways of doing this:
1 Bank Draft - safe but costly; or,
2 Cash - Wrap cash paper money (not coins) in a piece of paper and put it into an envelope addressed to me!.
On receipt of your money the CD (s) will be posted to you.
I have previously done it this way quite a few times, with no mishaps.
IMPORTANT ! ! Don't forget to include your postal and e-mail addresses.
(Write it on the paper that you're going to use to wrap the money in - not on the money! )
