The reason I'm working on this character is for a Doom3 mod. It's basically gonna be a playable character. The mod needed a female marine and so I'm trying to make one. I've made some big changes since the first idea and these screens show some of the final transitions I've made to get to where it is now. The ones with the black suit is not really what she would look like, I just had some fun with materials and hair there. The last few shots show the current version of the model with armor and helmet.
The texturing is nothing final, just me trying to find some style of metal texture for the base material for the armor. This model is not finished at all so probably at a later stage I'll post more updates or just the finished model.

This is Goku, from the excellent anime series Dragon Ball Z. It's a high poly model done with sub division or mesh smoothing as known in the world of 3DS Max. There is still alot to do which mostly consist of getting the clothes right. Lots more folding and stuff in the clothes needed. Also the hair is not done. I'm using a plugin for the hair called Ornatrix. It's just brilliant plugin for creating hair quickly and pretty realisticly. The nature of Goku's hair is not that easy for me to translate into "real" 3D hair but I'm gonna get it right eventually.
I've posted alot more shots then usual to show the progress of the model. This model is still being worked on.

Most of these shots are WIP shots. The model is pretty much done but if I decide to go on with creating normal maps and stuff then I might end up making changes. The last 5 shots is pretty much the final model.

All of these shots are (WIP) shots. The last few shots I stared to add some color and even a bit of texture. They are all basically test renders to test out the look of the Turtle for different styles.
For the look and shape of the model I based it loosely on the original movie version and the new cartoon version.

Just some random screens throughout the map. I've decided to release the map and the Shambler as a single package since the map require you have the Shambler PAK file. They are seperate PAK files so you can kill the map and keep the Shambler if you wanted. I will maybe release a seperate Shambler PAK a bit later. The link to download the map is just under the screens section.

I wanted to post some new updated screens of this character since Doom3 is now released and I could actually take some screens from within the game engine. The shots here include some high res renders of the high res model and the low res model. I also took some high res screens from the game and added a little AVI of the walking animation using the high res model.

This Mech is a model I designed and modelled for a small project I worked on with a friend of mine. The animation I've included here is just a very short little clip to show the mech in motion. I used a full IK rig for this model to make animation very quick and easy.
The first animation was my motion and IK test. The second one is a small clip of the Mech walking past an innocent bystander.. :).. Unfortunately I had to compress the animation alot so the quality is affected a bit.

Modelling the Ninja was a pretty long project coming to about 2 weeks in total including the bones skinning. For the model I used Nurbs which is my first full on venture into that area of modelling. Although I ended up using Patches also for stuff like the hands and face. The little animation I added just show the guy in motion and is not an animation I created from scratch. I did however edit the animation a bit for the feet, hands and arms to behave properly.
These are the "work in progress" screens.

Here they are, all the shots of the TIE Interceptor. Because I am such a big fan of Star Wars I had to model this little space fighter. Definately one of the best designs of a space fighter. I've also modelled the X-Wing which I'll post some screenshots of at a later stage. Click on the thumbnail to open the picture.

Some shots of the model I'm working on for Doom3. It's basically a re-make of the old Shambler from Quake created by id Software. These are all work in progress shots. Click on the thumbnail to open the picture.
