Is
the new Apple iPad 2
a phone? Or is it a computer? I guess a bit of both.
It is a phone, but a grand one because you can chat over it
and have video conferences. And do all kinds of web browsing
while talking. A bit big for the person who just want a phone
though.
It connects to the outside world using Wi-Fi and 3G.
But it also is a computer - with the difference that all kinds
of drivers do not need to be installed and it is wireless (except
when you charge it of course), keyboard less and mouse less. You
can even do wireless printing over wi-fi. They call it AirPrint.
With no software to download, no drivers to install and no cables
to connect. Goodness.
Using it is so intuitive as pointing your finger. Well actually
you use your fingers to do everything on this clever little
device. Pull an image and you increase it in size.
Because
the new Apple iPad 2
is so portable it is so easy to turn it in
different directions. This clever little device knows how to keep
the screen the right side up for you - does not matter how you
turn it. Not only does it know what side of the screen is up, but
it also knows where you are, what direction you are facing and
how you are moving. Verbysterend. For those of us who love the
clever sounding wording: They say the accelerometer,
three-axis gyroscope and compass all work together.
An interesting concept with screens growing ever larger, here
is a size we will have to get used to. Bigger than the phone yet
smaller than the computer. I wonder if a computer user with a big
screen will be happy with just this small one again.
And it really becomes a matter of deciding what you want to
use this equipment for - to see if it will be suitable for
you.
You want to run to a meeting and take your presentation along?
Great! Just plug in the Apple Digital AV Adapter or Dock
Connector to VGA Adapter (sold separately) and your HDTV or
projector becomes a bigger version of your iPad.
Nifty little device. One cannot help but to fall in love with
it. I think that this could very well be the future of computing
we are beholding right before our eyes. Well the future for the
next ten or so years at least because in computer terminology a
decade is a very long time.
The the new Apple iPad 2
has an all new design. Apple says there
is now less in your hands - but more at your fingertips. The iPad
is now 33 percent thinner and up to 15 percent lighter than it's
predecessor. Feel how much lighter it is when you pick it up -
and when you just cannot put the thing down again.
Just some of the new features are that it is thinner, lighter
and faster. Thin light Smart Covers has a handy lil trick to it,
it switches on all by itself the moment the cover is opened and
off when you close it. And to top it all it has a battery life of
10 hours before it needs recharging.
The the new Apple iPad 2
gives you better surfing, - watching, -
gaming and better everything. With the brand new Dual-Core A5
Chip it is now fast times two. This new chip is up to nine times
faster than the predecessor.
With two cameras (one facing you and the other one pointing
away from you) and built in FaceTime software to allow you to
easily communicate with friends and show them what you feel like
and see. They can be looking at you, or look at what you are
looking at.

description containing specifications and other product
details of the the new Apple iPad 2.
And who knows, if you like what you see and the product suits
your needs, you can buy it there and then and have it delivered
at your doorstep very fast.
The iPad uses the iOS4 Operating system - the same as the
iPhone and the iPod touch. And did you know that apple supplies
all future software upgrades free of charge? Amazing.
There is a whole string of built in applications like:
FaceTime allowing video connections, Photo Booth where you keep
all your photos, mail, Safari to do your internet browsing,
iBooks that you can order from the iStore and read on your iPad,
you can watch video's listen to your music like on the iPod, and
buy various applications on the AppStore. Apple itself also
produces a whole string of applications for you that you can
download from the AppStore. You can easily publish your video's
on YouTube. And of course there are Notes, a calendar and all
your contacts as well.
"Hmm die Engelse word slim my kind..."
Enjoy.
