All updates to programmer so far:

UPDATES: (Please check CD before contacting me).

Cable:The cable has been modified from 7 core to 8 core contact me:

PICALLW: If you get programming errors please delete the PICALLW.INI and re-set up.

If PICALLW does not see the board try swapping VDD and VPP 3 -> 2 and 2-> 3 in settings hardware. (PIC16F628)

IC-PROG: Crashes - goto options settings and choose XP/2000 driver.

Please check hardware ports on PC or laptop if they are set to 378 in Windows and BIOS.

Use a well smoothed PSU, avoid any switch mode PSU's.

If programmer stops working check troubleshooting section on the CD.

The voltage wall warts that you get at the flea markets and hypers that are adjustable between 3 and 12v are ok. Most of them deliver 16-18V on 12V setting.

PLEASE!!! if you cannot get your programmer to work, Please phone me. Check CD under troubleshooting.

Programs that work with this board:

    1) Picall for Windows http://picallw.com

    2) ICPROG http://ic-prog.com

    3) PICpgm http://www.members.aon.at/electronics/pic/picpgm

Although development has stopped on PICALLW and ICPROG. They are still fully functional. PICpgm is still being devoloped and works well.

The 74ls05 must be replaced with a 7407
