Gorgoth Dreadnought:
Nanotech level 10, Beams level 12, Missiles level 12, Fighters level 12
- The most destructive starship in the game.
- Affects up to 20 ships in the same fleet, giving each a 2% bonus to shield penetration.
- Affected ships have their shield resistance reduced by 2 levels in battle.

Starting Out
- Gorgoth starting tech is fighters.
- You can expect to find above average habs from starting greys.
- The major starting hurdle is the weakest economic techs in the game at the start. Level 1 research, ore, production, nanotech and economy. Ouch!
- This makes Gorgoth a very slow starter, and it is not helped by the fact that Researching is the most expensive technology to research for Gorgoth.
- Build a few extra labs as soon as possible to get your ore/prod techs up a few levels.
- Gorgoth are often welcomed into alliances with open arms, because of their 4% bonus to market discount (second only to the Toag 8% bonus), and because when they get going, they are the ultimate destructive force. Many aggressive alliances will also overlook alliances with a decently ranked Gorgoth when selecting targets.

Ideal Alliance Partners
- Shydow: opposite hab, fast starter. A rapidly expanding Shydow can provide early protection for you, and dump all his bad habs in your lap (they will be good for you).
- Turian: hab dissimar, but not opposite. The Turian will provide the staying power while you provide the destructive power. Alliances with a good Turian/Gorgoth combo are feared.
- Zeeb and Drall: Opposite hab.
- Oomari: 2 tick travel times.

Fleet
- Gorgoth build ships for one thing and one thing only, to kill!
- Go for uniques as early as possible, and then buld as many as you can. Gorgoth are one of two races where the unique is a pure combat ship, and the Gorgoth unique is the ultimate weapon of mass destruction in the game.
- Weapon choice is fighters or missiles. Most players with Gorgoth go fighters (fighters are the highest damage weapon), but missiles is also a good choice becuase of the 50% shield penetration, combined with the Gorgoth bonus to shield penetration. - In alliance battles, the Gorgoth is the player most depend on to make the kills.
